Weekly Update #59: New Content and More

I’ve had a very productive week, now starting on the features and content that will hopefully be in Beta 0.17. Here’s what I worked on:

  • A new early-game mission and related anomaly.
  • Modifications to friendly fire:
    • Faster decay (aggo’d factions will forget faster)
    • Clamped per incident (a single high damage attack won’t automatically aggro a faction)
    • End game alliance group
  • Reputation effects: this has been in place for a while, but now some story elements react to it.
  • The long awaited “quicksave”
